Keystone Binder

An emergency binder for new parents

The guardianship, medical, and financial information a caregiver would need if something happened to you, organized before you're too sleep-deprived to do it later.

"Get a will" is the advice every new parent hears and almost none of them act on right away, not because it doesn't matter, but because between feedings and sleep schedules, it never becomes today's problem. It stays a someday problem until something makes it urgent.

And a will alone doesn't answer the questions a caregiver would actually face on day one: which pediatrician, which insurance plan, where the guardianship paperwork is, what the bedtime routine even looks like. That's a different document than an attorney typically hands you.

Building it now, while you're already awake at 2am anyway, takes the same guided questionnaire you'd fill out eventually, just before it's needed instead of after.
